With over 12 years of experience in digital infrastructure and smart city investments, Vardahn previously served as Vice President of Investments at JBG SMITH where he led the firm's digital infrastructure strategy and business unit. There, he oversaw an $85 million digital infrastructure and venture capital investment portfolio, including the first-of-its-kind last-mile platform of fiber, data centers, small cell, and spectrum assets. While at JBG SMITH he also worked on various special projects and strategic initiatives that helped drive growth. Earlier in his career, Vardahn served as the lead consultant in Accenture's Smart Cities and Digital Infrastructure practice, delivering strategy and operations projects across public and private sectors.
Vardahn holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, a M.S. in Smart Cities and Urban Analytics from University College London, and a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment from MIT.
