In his role, Todd works closely with Co-founder and President Brian Katz and the Residential team to identify and target key markets, driving residential real estate opportunities that align with AREP’s core investment strategy.
Todd brings extensive experience identifying, negotiating, and closing numerous multifamily and mixed-use investments, including direct acquisitions, GP and LP joint ventures, and debt purchases. His successful track record includes sourcing and closing multifamily and mixed-use transactions totaling over $3.0B, and overseeing the capital raising, portfolio & asset management, and operational functions for several investment funds.
Before joining AREP, Todd served as a Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Green Sands Capital, a leading real estate private investment firm. Prior to that, Todd held senior investment leadership roles at the private equity firm Carmel Partners, as well as public companies Archstone (ASN: DJIA) and Sonder Holdings Inc. (SOND: NASDAQ).
Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pepperdine University and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.
