ROSSLYN, VA – Today, the Rosslyn Business Improvement District(BID) presented its “Most Valuable Partner” award to American Real Estate Partners (AREP) at the organization’s annual Rosslyn City Social event. Since joining the community in 2015, AREP has served as a driving force behind Rosslyn's transformation into a premier destination for innovation and entrepreneurship. On top of the company’s ongoing partnership with the Rosslyn BID, AREP has established its renovated Rosslyn City Center (RCC) property as a premier gathering place for community members and business leaders.
AREP’s commitment to community engagement is at every level, from building vibrant spaces with murals from local artists, supporting DC-area businesses and donating space for community events.
Central to the BID’s recognition of AREP is the Company’s groundbreaking partnership with Unstuck Labs, an award-winning tech accelerator and mobile app developer renowned for its work with early-stage startups and founders. Through this partnership, Unstuck Labs selected one of AREP's custom-designed SuiteX office spaces at Rosslyn City Center (RCC) as the location for its new startup studio.
Additionally, Upside on Moore, Rosslyn City Center's newly transformed 30,000-square-foot food hall, further underscores AREP’s dedication to community engagement and sustainability. With a wide range of food and drink options from nine local vendors, Upside on Moore provides a solid foundation for local chefs to flourish while supporting local organizations like the Arlington Food Assistance Center.
AREP has transformed Rosslyn CityCenter into a community hub with the generous use of its state-of-the-art conference center, food hall event spaces, and available spec suites. These spaces have hosted BID board meetings and events for local publications like Bisnow, allowing stakeholders and the public to experience the innovation and sophistication of AREP's authentic customer-first approach firsthand. AREP partnered with local artists as part of its transformation of Rosslyn CityCenter and Upside on Moore, adding murals from artists Andrea Limauro, Brandon Hill, and Ashley Jaye Williams.
"We couldn’t be prouder to receive this recognition; our partnership with the Rosslyn BID reflects our shared vision of creating dynamic spaces that inspire collaboration, creativity, and growth,” said Paul Schulman, Principal and COO at AREP. “Together, we are shaping Rosslyn into a thriving hub for innovation and entrepreneurship."
“AREP embodies the spirit of partnership in numerous ways,” said Mary-Claire Burick, President of the Rosslyn BID. “Their commitment to evolving their spaces with innovative concepts has redefined the neighborhood experience, providing a place where both the community and businesses can flourish. We are grateful to have such an incredible partner and look forward to many more collaborations that will continue to elevate Rosslyn to new heights.”
